‘Owl of Athena’. 1976 Two drachma Coin Pendant.

Another of my coin jewellery pieces that I love. Coins are just so interesting and would have so many stories to tell if they could talk.

This owl stares out so intently as if he's measuring you up and the back of this gorgeous coin is the Pheonix rising from the ashes..

The coin is 25mm in diameter and is made of brass.

It is on a 2mm wide x 45 cm long silver bead chain.
